Our pigs are rotationally grazed over diverse forage plots of small grains, legumes, and other plants. In addition to this forage, the pigs are supplemented with organic feed. While harvesting their own feed, the pigs are simultaneously fertilizing, tilling, and preparing the ground for future crops. We raise heritage breed pigs on our pasture, including a Berkshire/Red Wattle/Hereford mix.
Pork: We sell pork by the half a hog, which will be about 75-85lbs. hanging weight. You will order the cuts that you would like from the butcher, and pick up the meat directly from them. Please note that our Half Hog price does not include butchering costs (approx. $75, depending how you get it cut).
